Due to its universal approach, painting is in many ways similar to music.  It makes no distinction between races, religions, language etc..  Painting therefore possesses this wonderful faculty of touching the heart, soul and spirit of people.  It is in this line of thought and for this reason, that as an artist, my responsibility is to express in painting, forms, lines and colours that are carriers of hope, peace and beauty.

I have been painting for more than 35 years and my approach is not an intellectual one but rather expressive, according to my natural drives.  I am self-educated and I draw my inspiration from living nature, music, poetry and meditation.  This allows me to discover new worlds of colour, limpidity and harmony that I highlight in my paintings.  The themes that I use revolve around serenity and the calmness of landscapes, where the beauty of subtle worlds influences a beneficial magic for the soul.

With the years, I have come to understand that my paintings can favour the spiritual opening up of human beings and offer them precious elements for healing the physical body.

More than one, without a doubt, would call this expression a possible “gift”.  But I only see it as a way to communicate pictures and feelings coming from a subtle world by trying to reproduce them as accurately as possible.  It is the same for a pianist who composes music from his imagination, I let my fingers work (because it is the technique that I use for painting) the beauty, the splendour of another dimension.

This kind of pictorial art, I call this “mysticism” because it is the fruit of an interior work, spiritual of myself.

Today, the world cannot feed and fulfil the human soul.  The actual society loses itself in the complexities of selfish, blind and irresponsible personalities.  No meaning is given to the life of the human being on earth.

But I believe that a new day will soon come where after religion and science, art with a big “A” will play a role with humanity:  That of revealing the splendour of imaginary worlds of the soul and spirit in order that the beauties of the sky descend on earth to demonstrate.

I believe that painting will become a means of an ideal expression to awaken all that is beautiful.

It is with this thought that I paint, that guides and inspires me.  I believe that there is nothing more marvellous that working to become a co-creator in the works of the Great Divine.

In the future, I wish that each artist be aware of his spiritual responsibility and that he continue advancing until he starts to paint himself, sculpts himself to also become an imposing work.
